Standfast——来自北欧瑞典的银白色浪漫

他们的音乐，有入口即化的甜蜜纯度，
一种你会时常想起的香味；

◎　成员

这是一个创作才华形的组合，由女主唱Suzanne Mosson和男团员Patrick Tucker组成。

Suzanne嗓音甜美神似Texas的女主唱Sharleen Spiteri，模样可人恰若珊卓布拉克。Suzanne大多是主唱/合音(因为她在15岁开始学玩吉它，但常常无法边唱边弹，所以决定主攻唱歌)以及创作。

而Patrick则负责创作, 乐器(几乎整张专辑的吉它都是他弹的)以及制作方面。在发表自己作品前，Patrick也写了多首热门歌曲如98度的《Because Of You》 和罗南的《Only For You》。他们在97年相遇了.. 两个对音乐抱着执着心态的人就这样结合起来主成了现在的STANDFAST。

　　这两个人相处的模式十分自然，融洽，就像他们的音乐一样，飘荡着北欧特有的浪漫气息，一种冷凝、致腻的银白色浪漫。

◎  STANDFAST的意义

Standfast这个意义深远的团名，不但是男团员Patrick Tucker的姓氏，也是他们首张专辑的名称。Patrick笑说这原本是他的家族姓氏，意思大概是“一个放弃逃跑而选择站起来勇敢对抗最可怕敌人的人”。现在则代表了Standfast的座右铭——要为自己的音乐、信仰坚持到底。

◎  他们的音乐历程

Standfast成军的过程非常有趣。1997年，Suzanne与Patrick在瑞典首都斯德哥尔摩相识，彼此认为可以组成搭档试试运气。“我们在某个地下室租了一间完全密闭的练团室。那个地方充满了年轻的音乐创作人，日夜不停地在写歌、录试听带。”

    　他们两人之前则在他们所租的完全密闭的地下排练室中窝了整整将近一年的时间。他们决定将他们花心血写出的歌曲整理后向唱片公司自荐，但是又不想让自己的DEMO被淹没在唱片公司如雪花般的试听带中，所以他们决定直接唱给EMI唱片公司听。

   　 这是个大胆又不可能实现的提议。

Partick回忆说：“因为他们说如果不把试听样带送去，一切就免谈！所以我们也就把我们的试听带包了一包就寄出去了，连写个简短的问候之类的话都没有，因为我和Suzanne真的气死了，但是想不到两天之后，EMI打电话来说他们很喜欢《No Longer 》这首歌，想见见我们~！”

◎     一个blog上的评论

他们的英文词蛮写实的，简单利落，而且曲风偏向RELAX AND SIMPLE抒情摇滚，也叫SOFT ROCK吧~~ 整张CD听起来很舒服，虽然是音乐小品制作，但用心程度绝对不是输给那些有很多华丽大牌以及音乐的专辑。也有蛮多是三件式的摇滚音乐，非常容易，但结合起来却是超赞的!!! 尤其是SUZANNE自己的合音，例如:"CARCRASHES" 。

　　我比较喜欢其它歌曲，EG:"LOOK AT ME NOW", "NO LONGER"等等。专辑里面其实还有很多比CARCRASHES赞的歌曲，虽然风格蛮一致的，但我觉得没有什么不好，反而更加突出了他们的创作才华和个人风格!!!

◎     他们的音乐

Suzanne表示说：“这首歌其实是我有一天作梦醒来想到的。事实上我在醒来时想到第一句歌词，而这句歌词就是我那天早上醒来时脑中盘旋不去的一句话。”

Suzanne也表示说：“我总是会梦到一些怪东西，有时候当我明明已经睡了好几个小时，可是因为一直作梦所以醒来时还是觉得很累，不过我也常常在白天做白日梦就是了！”

Patrick则对于许如芸所唱的中文版，直说《Carcrashes》用中文唱真的是太酷了！不过他们对于许如芸所唱的版本则感到非常的骄傲，因为许如芸的歌喉实在是非常优美，加在歌中增添了不少气势。
